What that changes here
The Brussels loft is narrow, tall and awkward to get to; everything goes up by hand through the stairwell. In a subdivided building there is also the question of who pays for what. Technically we watch above all the airtightness around the dormer and the junction against the party wall: those are the two places where damp comes back.
Evere was built mainly after the war: housing estates from the 1950s and 1960s, social housing and apartment blocks with large flat roofs. The building stock is younger than elsewhere in Brussels, but the first generation of bitumen felt laid on those flat roofs is now reaching the end of its life.

Pour un devis, la visite à Evere se fixe en général sous quelques jours ouvrés. Nous partons de Grimbergen, à 7 km, et nous groupons nos visites par secteur : si un chantier tourne déjà cette semaine à Schaerbeek ou Woluwe-Saint-Lambert, cela peut aller plus vite. For a pitched roof, aim for 18 to 24 cm of mineral wool or PIR depending on the material, to meet the requirements in force. In an existing roof structure the space between rafters is limited: you then add a second layer under the rafters, crossing the joints.
In most cases, yes: the insulation is fitted from the inside. Sarking — insulation laid over the roof structure, under the tiles — is only justified if the roof has to be redone anyway. In that case it is the best solution, and the question comes up before the tiles are ordered.
